Saint Jean d’Aulps

St Jean D’Aulps station is in the hamlet of La Moussière d’en haut, part of the commune of St Jean d’Aulps in the Haute-Savoie department in the Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. Situated in the heart of the Vallée d’Aulps, as well as being the home to an active farming community, it is popular with holiday-makers all year round.  There are roughly 1,000 inhabitants, a handful of shops, including four bars and three restaurants.

A family resort, Saint Jean d’Aulps offers skiers the grandiose backdrop of “le Roc d’Enfer” down to la Chèvrerie.  Great views of Lac Leman, the Dents du Midi and Mont Blanc.  The local skiing area known as Espace Roc d’Enfer has 21 slopes and 15 ski lifts and is part of the Portes du Soleil, one of the biggest ski domains in the world with 650 km of slopes and 14 stations in France and Switzerland.

Le Schuss is a small apartment block situated on the village square, next to the ski school, about 50 metres from the gondola lift.
